Job Title: Process & Quality Improvement Lead

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom

Reports to: Operations Manager

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus + great benefits + excellent holiday allowance

**In order to be considered for this position you must have experience of leading food or drink operations and quality teams within a fast paced, fully automated factory environment. The role of Process & Quality Improvement Lead will see you working with high performing peers who constantly drive one another to reach the next level of excellence. As part of this group you will be expected to deliver improved efficiencies within the factory as well as influencing and convincing key internal stakeholders to pivot strategy.

Naturally inquisitive, you will constantly be on the look out for improvement activities within Operations across areas such as OEE, Quality, absolute yield and process capabilities.

In brief, you will:

  • Hold the ability to demonstrate individual contribution for delivery of site improvement projects.
  • Cover for the Operations Manager
  • Ensure correct data collection and reporting for the MDT performance analysis on Quality, absolute yield, process capability and OEE performance
  • Lead root cause analysis on longer term (systemic) problems with main area of focus on product and process related projects
  • Identify and provide analysis of key losses based on process variation and propose improvement solutions
  • Have a degree qualification
  • Have relevant experience from within a fast-paced environment
